Vicious Villains: Lady Tremaine

Hey guys,

Sometimes wanting the best for your family still is evil. Lady Tremaine definitely had mostly the best for her daughters in mind - still she basically enslaved Cinderella. So we hate her and it feels good. She is a very sophisticated and elegant villain and so is her makeup look. The burgundy eyes and berry lips are perfect for this season.

Vicious Villains: Mother Gothel

Hey guys,

Another perfect fall look rocked by a Disney villain. Today we’re talking about Mother Gothel. I have never seen Tangled but her look is super appropriate for the season. So this had to be on my list. The golden-orange eyes and berry lip go perfectly with her glamorous burgundy dress. So let’s get recreating!

Fall (Yankee) Candle Haul

Hey guys,

Have you heard of my obsession with scented candles? We're actually at this point now that I have secret and hidden scented candle stocks in our apartment. My boyfriend always frowns on me when I order more. But this haul I just couldn't prevent. There were some great deals going on and I needed some gifts... So yeah, excuses. Have fun watching!

Vicious Villains: Cruella De Vil

Hey guys,

Can you get more evil then a woman who is willing to kill puppies for a coat? I don’t think so. Cruella De Vil has nothing good to speak for her. She’s just despicable. Her look is also very distinct with the green eyeshadow, quite round shaped, and then the red lips with it. Well, she would probably wear Estee Lauder and Chanel, I am going for cheaper alternatives…

Vicious Villains: Ursula

Hey guys,

For our new series we wanna look deep into the eyes of evil - and duplicate some famous Disney villain’s looks. Today we’re starting off with my personal favorite: Ursula. She is the sea witch that steals Arielle’s voice in the Little Mermaid. Her skin has a purple color, her eyelids are tinted blue and her lips are painted red. So let’s do this… just more wearable.

Makeup To-Go: What happened to Monday?

Hey guys,

Here’s another movie makeup look. I haven’t seen this movie and I probably won’t watch it because it doesn’t seem that interesting to me. The main character looks great though. I loved her makeup a lot. The red lips just made my heart so happy. I don’t know why I am so obsessed with red lips right now.

Literary Looks: Nastya Kashnikov

Hey guys,

This book definitely stole my heart this year. I enjoyed the romance plot so much, and usually I don’t care about romance in books at all. So Nastya is trying to push things away. She wants to be on her own and she uses makeup and clothing to do that. She dresses quite slutty and her makeup is dark and dangerous. Also she doesn’t give a shit.

I will not do a seperate post about those, but I'll like them down below and share the books I actually read in October as well.

Makeup To-Go: Emmy Rossum (@ the Emmys 2017)

Hey guys,

How gorgeous can smoky eyes be? When I saw the pictures of Emmy Rossum at the Emmys, I was immediately pulled in. She looked so flawless and gorgeous. I wanted to try to recreate this smoky look. Keep in mind that I have hooded eyes, so it looks a bit different. Here’s her look, if you wanna check it out by yourself.

Literary Looks: Sam in Perks of Being a Wallflower

Hey guys,

So let’s talk about one of my absolute favorite books. It’s Perks of Being a Wallflower. I definitely wanna reread this book this year, probably within the month. Sam is a very interesting character. She has a dark past but she’s trying to overcome it. Also she is very fashionable and fun and I love the Rocky Horror Show element. This is not inspired by the movie, by the way.

My Halloween Costume 2017! Mrs Lovett (Sweeney Todd)

Hey guys,

I hope you had a wonderful Halloween. Today I wanna show you my costume and my makeup look that I wore for this special night. We had an early Halloween dinner actually, because I was working during Halloween. I decided that I wanted to match my costume to the meal so we had some meat pies inspired by the movie Sweeney Todd. I dressed up as Mrs Lovett, obviously.

Last Minute Halloween: Flapper Ghost

Hey guys,

This is going to be the second last minute Halloween idea. I had all of these things at home so maybe you’ll find similar things at your place. Also I am obsessed with the 1920s. Such a fabulous time of makeup and style. Hope you like this little bit different take on a ghost costume.

Last Minute Halloween: Geisha inspired Look

Hey guys,

Halloween is upon us and I wanted to show you some last minute costume ideas. These are all inspired by stuff I had lying around my house. I hope you’ll get inspired by them. This first look is a very simple Geisha inspired look. I don’t mean to disrespect any culture with it. I just love how different and still beautiful this kind of makeup is.

International Christmas Swap

Hey guys,

I wanted to write this post for forever. Now I am going to get a cold and I am all crumpy about it. So what better time to write this, hu? Oh well, that's get going.

Makeup To-Go: Mandy Moore (Emmys 2017)

Hey guys,

I am a huge fan of pink lips. This color is just my favorite, the brighter the better. So seeing this gorgeous beautiful woman with pink lips on a red carpet just intrigued me. I had to try this look and show you what I came up with. Her eyes are so pretty and glittery.

Literary Looks: Hilly in The Help

Hey guys,

The Help is one of my absolute favorite books on earth. It’s so interesting, has amazing characters and I cared for all of them so much. This is actually a book I have to reread soon, maybe next year. But today I wanted to show you a look inspired by Hilly. She is the mean girl of the book, but it’s hard to hate her because you kinda feel sorry for her and her ignorance as well.

August Lookbook - Vacation Edition

Hey guys,

So August was my vacation month and maybe you've already seen the first part of my vlog all about Rome. There will be a second part hopefully soon, all about Naples, Pompeii and other fun places. So this video is pretty much full of my vacation outfits. I recorded them when I was back home just because our holiday was quite busy, we were going to so many sights and having such a great time that I couldn't be bothered with filming outfits. Sry guys, I know that makes it a bit more boring. Hope you enjoy nonetheless!

Makeup To-Go: Donna Paulsen in Suits

Hey guys,

Fall makeup looks always bring me back to warm shimmers and darker crease colors. This I heart Makeup palette is really great for that. It’s called Naked Chocolate palette, I believe, and it has all these amazing fall colors that you’ll need. I got mine in Fuerteventura last year and I have been using this constantly. Today I wanna share with you this glowing warm-toned look inspired by my favorite Suits character Donna Paulsen.

Literary Looks: Galadriel

Hey guys,

Galadriel is one of those characters that has a lot of power but is very settle about it. You won’t find her boasting about it. She’ll just calmly let you know that she is a powerful elf and she knows pretty much everything that was, is or maybe will be. I wanted to do a very light glowing look for her. She is a very fair person with blond her. What do you think?

Read & Watched in August 2017

Hey guys,

let's talk about some amazing August reading and great movies and TV shows I have watched during the month. I love doing these wrapups of books, movies and shows for you. Hope you like them as well.

Makeup To-Go: Jennifer Lawrence in Mother!

Hey guys,

One of my most anticipated movies of this year is Mother! with Jennifer Lawrence. The trailer looked fantastic and like a great mystery. It didn’t show too much of the story but just the atmosphere which is super creepy and disturbing. So I decided to take inspiration from JLaw’s look in one of the promo pictures for the movie. I don’t know how accurate it is for what she’s wearing in the film… we’ll see. :D

Literary Looks: Temperance Brennan

Hey guys,

Bones is one of my favorite TV shows even though it wore itself out a bit and I actually never finished it. But the book series has become a favorite of mine as well, and I’ve read the second book recently. This inspired me to do a look that would be appropriate for a more mature person, someone who works a lot and doesn’t spend hours in front of the mirror before heading out. I think this is a great everyday look for fall!

Makeup To-Go: Pink at the VMAs 2017

Hey guys,

Pink had this amazing speech at this year’s VMAs which went pretty much viral on social media. The talk was all about her daughter who thought she was ugly because she looked too manly. I love that these things are talked about now, because with short hair I actually look a lot like a boy, too. :D This is nothing weird or ugly, it’s just how life works.

Rome Travel Vlog 2017

Hey guys,

this is the first part of vlogs of our summer vacation. I love Rome, it's my favorite city in the whole world. I love Roman history and I studied Latin in school. So I am pretty biased. But you should watch this. You'll love it, too. The Naples vlog will follow soon!

Literary Looks: Sansa Stark

Hey guys,

Today’s look is inspired by beautiful Sansa who has a good heart but not much luck in the series A Song of Ice and Fire. I really like her character growth but when we first meet her she’s actually a snobby little princess of the North. So that’s what I wanted to capture with this look. The eyes are inspired by snow, the cheeks are blushed as if from the cold. The lips are also really cold-looking.

Kat von D & Illamasqua Makeup Haul

Hey guys,

So I don't do a lot of makeup shopping anymore. My main weakness are lipsticks and I have so freaking many that I really try to stop myself from buying more. Well, that doesn't always work... which is why you should watch this video. ;)

Makeup To-Go: Wedding Guest 2017

Hey guys,

Well, weddings are a thing and seems like we’re invited to one or two every year. So here you go, another wedding guest makeup tutorial. I really do love this look a lot because it is nice and smoky and it doesn’t matter if your makeup starts to slide a little bit. Also it’s not too dark but still defined enough. I liked adding a touch of yellow and the pink lips to match my makeup to my dress.

Literary Looks: Jane Eyre

Hey guys,

Last year I was blown away by the novel Jane Eyre. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did, and I had no idea what it was about. That was just the best way to enjoy it. Jane is such a strong character in a way and she wants to decide for herself. Also she went through some rough shit. All in all for me this kinda tired look with the strong brows and the flushed cheeks would really match her well.
