here are some more products I've used up recently. As always there's beauty, maybe some makeup and candle and home scents. These are pretty much the best things in life for me. :D Hope you like the video. :)
Millie Bobby Brown held the sweetest speech at
this year’s MTV Movie Awards. I loved Stranger Things a lot. Also this look is
really great for summer since it is easy to do and pretty smudge-proof. It’s
further great for younger girls who are starting to wear makeup because it’s
all about achieving a lot with doing very little.
Vixen made me come out of my comfort zone a bit.
I was happily surprised to find a female super hero of color which is indeed
quite stereotypical but at least existing. Vixen’s colors are warm bronzes,
orange and yellow and I wanted to incorporate these colors in the eye look
mainly. Yellow is not a color I wear regularly but I do like that Sugarpill
shadow a lot!
well, April's long gone but I still have to share my reading wrap-up with you. So here we go. These are some of the books I read in April. Also I mention some movies and TV show. Let me know what you've read and watched lately!
This look is inspired by Kendall Jenner. I am
not the biggest fan of those sisters but she looked absolutely stunning and
this channel & blog is about makeup, not people. So I really wanted to
share this glamorous and elegant summer party look with you. The main features
are super long fluttery lashes and a beautiful glossy red pout. The rest of the
makeup is kept quite minimalistic which is great in summer time.
Starfire is a very interesting character from
the DC universe. Her colors are copper, red and purple and this is quite an
unusual and fun combo. It really inspired me and I realized that the Urban
Decay Vice palette is absolutely perfect to capture this look. Also I had to
add the red lip to it even though it might be too much color for some. I like
my makeup fierce and colorful. :D
April was probably the most exciting month for me this year. I started a new job (that's why I missed so many blogposts) and I really love that job. But it means that I have to travel a lot because I am commuting. I still managed to film some outfits for you. Hope you like them. :D
Tom Ford had this amazing visual for their
spring and summer collection. The model is absolutely stunning. She’s wearing a
glossy eye look that is quite warm and almost orange. With that they paired a
glossy orchid lip with an ombre effect. It’s a very special look that is very
simple and still super unique. I think this would be a great look for a summer
Logan was such a good movie and I very much
enjoyed it. Laura is such a fascinating character in that movie and I don’t
think I’ve ever seen a kid in fight scenes like that. But I loved every bit of
it. So I wanted to do a look inspired by Laura Kinney alias X23 or New Wolverine.
I tried to incorporate her main colors, so black and yellow for her costume and
silver and grey for the Adamantium that covers her bones. The rest of the
makeup is super simple since she doesn’t seem like a girl who’d care.
If you know anything about me, you know that I love books and every once in a while I wanna switch things up and talk to you about books as well. Something you may not know is that I am absolutely obsessed with the Sims. I started playing Sims 1 when I was around 13 or something. It's been a huge part of my teenage years and has helped me stay calm on many occasions. So it's more than time for me to share with you the Sims Book Tag!
I decided to share quite a lot of Spring looks with you this year. There
were some amazing ones and this one was super unique and caught my attention.
It's definitely on the more dramatic side, but we can do natural makeup every day.
:D So let's try something new. I really like all the pink tones and that's
definitely Spring to me. What do you think?
Moving right along with the Super Heroine series
today I wanna share with you my look inspired by Psylocke. Her costume is
mainly purple and she has this wild black hair. I’d say she’s rocking a dark
sexy bombshell look. So that’s what I tried to create. :D Love the sultry smoky eyes with the full lashes a lot,
the lips were a bit of a fail.
here are some things I have bought recently. There's some books and some beauty, maybe even some fashion, I don't even remember at that point. Most of these things I acquired in March. Hope you still enjoy watching. :D
Clarins put out a nice Spring inspired look this
season with elegant golden eyes that are very defined and blended nicely. I
loved this look the moment I saw it. Now my face and eye shape is very
different from the model’s but I still wanted to make it work. I think it’s
versatile and pretty for anyone, really. You should give it a try, if you like.
My new series is all about female super heroes.
We all know about the man: Superman, Batman and Captain America. But this is
going to be about the girls, women and heroines - I hate that word so much,
though. :D We’re going to start off with Poison Ivy which is quite a popular
one. Also I think her colors are quite interesting to incorporate in a look.
What do you think?
Well, surprise, I wore cloths in March. And now you can see some of them and judge me. Have fun. :D I know this post is super late and we're all ready for summer styles now but it is only starting to get nice now. So maybe you still enjoy this. :)
If you ever wondered what the hell is my
freaking problem with updating this blog - well, now you know. New job, new
town, lots of travelling. I love very bit of it, apart from being away from my
gorgeous cat. But the job is great and I enjoy seeing a different part of the
world for once. I feel very good about myself and I am glad I had the strength
to try this. It is what I wanna do with my life. I hope you are happy with me.
This last video is inspired by the gorgeous
Pixiwoo sisters, mainly Nic who is my favorite sister. I love her so much and
all her glamorous looks inspired me years ago. I feel like right now they’re
more into the everyday stuff but this old Cleopatra look is super fun. So see
me recreate it. :D
Today’s look is inspired by the Lancome spring 2017 visual. I think the visual is super cute. This look is great for all the
lovers of pink eyeshadow and nice glowy skin. It’s super simple and great for
any occasion. You can throw it on quickly in the morning and you don’t even
have to put on any lipstick with it. I love it. :D
Kathryn is probably not the nicest character
but I always felt connected to her. Since she isn’t in control over her own
life and has to put on a fake smile everyday she likes to control others and
mostly make them really unhappy. Her makeup is perfection though and I felt the
urge to recreate this iconic 90s look.
Long time, no blog. I’ve started a new job in a
new city and life got real busy. I was still uploading my videos but this blog
has suffered a lot. This post is rather late. I still need to finish my Youtube
Classics series, so here we go. This look is inspired by ItsJudyTime. Today she
only ever does neutral looks but back in the day she wasn’t afraid of pulling
out some vibrant purples to recreate this Selena Gomez look. I thing the
combination with the bright lip is very fierce.
Recently I used up a few more products that I wanted to talk about on my channel. Those are probably not the most exciting things in the world but they work for me and some of these are my absolute staples. So have fun watching!
I wanted to do this TAG for such a long time and
always forgot, but I was finally tagged by my Booktube-friend Sabrina. You
should check out her video as well. I loved this because I love makeup and I love
reading so here we get the best of both worlds. I really hope you like it.
Maybe I can do more book-related stuff in the future - or more tags. Any
So before March is over I wanted to share with you some outfits I wore in February. Yeah. That cold moment we're all trying desperately to forget. I had to go to some job interviews and had my last days of work, but also my last vacation days. So this was a weird month for me and I am glad it's over. :D
I was so inspired by the look Scarlett Johansson
wore to the Oscars this year because it was a bit different for her. It’s very
soft and settle and suites her quite well. I always imagine her with smoky eyes
or bronzed eyes so this is a change. Also the rest of the face is quite
monochromatic which is a fun and creative way to wear makeup in Spring.
Today’s look is inspired by Bubzbeauty and her
channel. She’s been doing videos for such a long time now. I haven’t watched
her videos in months or even years but back in the day I really liked her
channel. She rarely does makeup tutorial but this one I found and thought I’d
try to recreate it. :D
February has been quite a good reading month for me since I had quite some time off and I was travelling a lot. I really started falling for audiobooks and I am really liking them now. Also there's been some TV shows I had to mention. Hope you like the video!
Today’s look is inspired by Hailee Steinfeld -
and how the hell do you say her name? Well, doesn’t matter now. Her look on the
red carpet of the Academy Awards 2017 was so sexy and glamorous. I really love
the dramatic bronze eyes and the soft nude lip with it. Her face makeup is just
on point. This is such a versatile look that you can tone down or wear it full
glam as you like.
There’s always a bit of controversy with Taylor Swift, I guess, but her makeup is always flawless. This look is inspired by the Taylor Swift a couple of years ago. Is this still accurate? Well, I love the look
either way. It’s inspired by the recreation of TiffanyD and I think she did a
great job. Have you seen her original video?
