This look is inspired by the Arabesque Sandy Beach Day Look. I really like their visuals for this collection. They are quite
unique but still wearable and this day look doesn’t take too much time or effort.
But I still think it’s not the most practical for work or school because the
colors are a bit odd. But that’s something you can decide for yourself.
Today’s look is very special. It’s inspired by
Pisces. Honestly most of my family and friends are Pisces. I am supposed to not
go well with Pisces though… Maybe I am just the weirdest Aquarius ever. ;)
Back to the look, I wanted to do something
unique and fun for this one. Since Pisces means fish, well, I made it a fish
shape. :D I think it has a fun 60s-Cleopatra touch. What do you think? Also I
wanted to incorporate a scale-design but that didn’t work out too well,
unfortunately. But still, I like this look a lot.
a couple of days ago Kiko had an exciting deal where you could buy three items and get three items for free. I really couldn't pass that up because I love me some Kiko. I haven't bought new makeup in a while because I basically have anything I'd ever need, but sometimes it's just fun. So basically I decided to get three things for myself and then three things to give to a friend. I wasn't so bad then. I got two skincare products and one makeup item for myself. Lately I've been trying to care better for my skin. Also I've been using up some stuff so it actually makes sense to buy something new. After all I am happy with my purchase, so here's my haul video. :D
Today’s look is inspired by the beautiful Jada Smith. She wore a shimmery slightly green eye look for the Golden Globes this
year. Her face maekup is very simple, glowing and youthful and her eyes just
shine. Her lashline is quite defined and the makeup isn’t too much but goes
with her teal dress perfectly. Since I am so into the greens right now, I
couldn’t pass that one up.
This look is inspired by the Zodiac Sign
Aquarius. This is my Zodiac sign and so it has a special place in this series.
I wanted to create a look inspired by the sea and waves. That’s why I used
green and teal colors, also a bit of a dark blue. To balance things out I was
using a peach gloss for the lips. I love this combination, it just screams
Today’s look is inspired by a visual by Arabesque. It shows their spring/summer evening trend look. I really like the
picture and wanted to try to recreate the look because my eye and face shape
are so different. I think it still looked pretty cool but I had the worst
filming day. :D I hope you still enjoy seeing this look.
We’re officially starting the new series now. I
am very excited and proud because this look went quite well. I hope you like it
as much as I do. It’s inspired by the Zodiac Sign Capricorn. With the brown
tones I wanna represent the horns and with the taupe and greenish tones the
nature of the animal. Also I wanted the eyes to look big and doe-like. I really
love how it turned out. :)
you wanna hear all about the books I've read in March? I felt like I haven't read at all this month, but for some reason I managed to finished a decent amount of books. So I proudly present you this wrap-up. :D
Today’s look is inspired by Rachel McAdams. The look she wore to the Critic’s Choice Awards is rather winter appropriate, but
also super simple, quick and versatile. Since I very much love these kinds of
looks, I didn’t feel like ignoring this one. I hope you like it as much as I
do. This would look lovely with more shimmer on the lids or a brighter or
lighter lip color.
Another trend look for the upcoming season. I
really like fun colored eyeliners, so this one is right up my alley. It’s
inspired by a picture I saw here. It’s so pretty, the teal is a nice
alternative to blue eyeliner. I thought this was quite unique, I hadn’t seen
anything like it before. I really hope you enjoy this!
To change things up a bit I decided to share with you this tag. I have been using more blush recently and actually fallen in love with the effect. I always thought it's weird to put on pinkish color if you blush easily anyways, but now I understood that with blush you can focus on the areas that should look a bit more pink to give the face a nice shape. :) So that's what's going on and I hope you like the tag!
