[Announcement] Christmas Give-away

Hey guys,

I can't wait for Christmas to come (because there will at least a few days off :D) and I loooooove these Advent calendars. So basically it's one door for every day from the 1st to the 24th of December. I found a cute on: Everyday there is a give-away on a blog. So these are mainly German blogs so I don't know about shipping. I will do a give-away on the 9th of December, and it will be this day only.

With our German blog about books we will start this Advent calendar on the 1st of December. If you're interested in joining us or winning something, this is the list of names and the girl that invented this. ;)

I already uploaded the new video but I didn't have time to do the blogpost. I am sorry. :(

Don't forget to come back on the 9th of December. ;)

Merry Christmastime! ;)

Line it! Natural Eyeliner

Hey guys,

Today I wanna present you a very wearable and easy look which is basically like a back to school eyeliner look. I really like it that simple. If you think this is to nude wait until Saturday. ;)

Basically it is just a nude eyeshadow all over and a little bit of a soft warm brown eyeshadow in the crease with a brown eyeliner on the lashline. This look is supposed to be very soft and blended so it is perfect for everyone that doesn’t want to look overdone.

What you need:
  • Concealer
  • Brown eyeliner pencil
  • Soft brown eyeshadow
  • Matt champagne eyeshadow
  • White eyeliner pencil
  • Mascara
  • Optional: tinted moisturizer
  • Crème blush (as Mac Blushcreme in Ladyblush)
  • Nude lipcolor (lipstain or lipgloss would be best)

Do you like these natural looks for everyday?

Take care, bye!

To-Go Make-Up: Nicole Richie

Hey guys,

Again I wanted to do a celebrity inspired look before I totally fall into the Christmas tutorial marsh. :D This is another look I saw in the same magazine where the Kim Kardashian look was published. I really like it and I think it looks so great on her. The purple really makes her brown-green eyes pop.

I recorded two different versions because I couldn’t decide which one is better and maybe this helps you to see that you do not need the exact products that other people may use. :) Still I love the lips on her, not so much on me. It doesn’t go too well with my skin tone. But that is ok, because I think there aren’t many people that are pale like me. ;) If you have a little bit of a tan this lip color will look gorgeous.

What you need:
Version 1:
  • Eyeshadow base (as Mac Paint Pot in Girlfriendly)
  • Light purple eyeshadow
  • More vibrant purple eyeshadow
  • Shimmery lighter purple eyeshadow (as the mid-tone purple of the Chanel Quad in 08 Vanités)
  • Shimmery darker purple eyeshadow (as the dark purple of the Chanel Quad in 08 Vanités)
  • Shimmery pink glitter eyeshadow
  • Black eyeshadow
  • Black eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Optional: false lashes
  • Matte highlighting eyeshadow

Version 2:
  • Mac Fix+ or water
  • Dark purple pigment (as About Face Cosmetics Pigment in No Scruple)
  • Lighter shimmery purple pigment (as Ponyhütchen Pigment in Misfit)
  • Shimmery pink glitter eyeshadow
  • Shimmery lighter purple eyeshadow (as the mid-tone purple of the Chanel Quad in 08 Vanités)
  • Shimmery darker purple eyeshadow (as the dark purple of the Chanel Quad in 08 Vanités)
  • Black eyeshadow
  • Black eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Optional: false lashes
  • Matte highlighting eyeshadow

Face:
  • Tinted moisturizer
  • Concealer
  • Bronzer (as the one of the Tarte Jewelry Box)
  • Natural blush (as Mac Blushcreme in Ladyblush)
  • Peachy-pink lipstick (as a mixture of OCC lip tars in Divine and Anime)

Which version do you prefer?

Take care, bye!

Line it! Light Eyeliner on a dark canvas

Hey guys,

I really wanted this video to go up because this is one of my favorite ways to wear eyeliner. I love that effect, that shine just on the lashline. I hope you like it, too. Another thing that makes this video so special is the question whether you would like to have a Ponyhütchen give-away for Christmas. If you want one, let me know in the comments here or underneath the video. :)

Now for the look it’s a little bit Christmas inspired already with the red lips and the golden tones. As you may know I love golden eyeshadow and for me this is a really flattering look. The shiny color just makes your eyes pop. You could also do a black smoky eye with an intense red, blue, green, pink or purple liner. ;) I think this is really fun. :)

What you need:
  • Mac Fix+ or water
  • Goldish brown pigment (as Ponyhütchen Pigment in Jingle Bell)
  • Dark brown eyeshadow (as Ponyhütchen Pigment in Dark Chocolate)
  • Gold glitter (as Mac)
  • Golden shimmery eyeshadow (as About Face Cosmetics Pigment in Killer bees)
  • White eyeliner pencil (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk)
  • Golden eyeliner (as a mixture of Ponyhütchen Line it! And About Face Cosmetics Pigment in Killer bees)
  • Mascara
  • Concealer
  • Powder
  • Bronzer
  • Pinkish blush (as Mac Powderblush in Frankly Scarlet)
  • Red linliner
  • Red lipstick (as Barry M lipstick in 141)
  • Redish lipgloss

Let me know what you think about the give-away!

Take care, bye!

How to wear The show must go on! by OPI

Hey guys,

I already did a similar post with Take the Stage and now I did like the same thing with another OPI polish and just wanted to share the pictures. I used a nice plum-purple color as a base coat, which looked like that. One coat was enought.

After that I applied one coat of The show must go on, which is a quite sheer nail polish, but very shimmery. The shimmer is somewhere inbetween pink and orange, depending on the light that hits it. Together it looked like that:

The flash of the camera definitely brought out the orange particles.

I think it's a really nice Christmas color. At least I was told it is. I love it so much. The shimmer is really opaque on this darker base and it looks really expensive and beautiful.

I hope you give it a try if you own this nail polish. Have a beautiful day!

To-Go Make-Up: Kim Kardashian

Hey guys,

How are you? Today’s look is celebrity inspired as you may have seen from the title. I never wanted to do a look of Kin Kardashian, but this one was so nice and cute that I wanted to try it. You can even wear it with more black and darkness in the crease and though it is colorful it looks really glamorous.

As a fan of golden eyeshadow I had to try it and I like it so far. Hope you give it a go; I’ll try to show you the inspiration picture later today.

What you need:
  • Macs Fix+ or water
  • Golden eyeshadow (as Kiko Watereyeshadow in 01 Bright Lemon)
  • Dry golden eyeshadow
  • Olive green eyeshadow (as the one of the Sleek I Divine Acid Palette)
  • Darker olive green eyeshadow
  • Dark grey or black eyeshadow
  • Highlighting eyeshadow
  • White eyeliner pencil (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk)
  • Black liquid eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Optional: false eyelashes
  • Foundation
  • Concealer
  • Powder
  • Bronzer
  • Orange blush
  • Clear gloss or nude lipstick

I hope you like it. :)

Line it! Double Eyeliner

Hey guys,

I am really tired today which has nothing to do with this look but I am in a whiny mood.

This look was created to show you the possibility of a double line, meaning one line on the top and one on the bottom lashes. I like this a lot but it’s also quite difficult because you have to get the angle right. I like to put some white in between these lines, but you don’t have to do that.

I will also link you another video where I did the same liner, which is slightly older.

What you need:
  • Eyeshadow base
  • Dark purple or black base (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Slate)
  • Dark green base
  • Vibrant purple eyeshadow
  • Darker purple eyeshadow
  • Really dark purple eyeshadow
  • Dark green eyeshadow
  • Black liquid eyeliner
  • Black eyeshadow
  • White base (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk)
  • White eyeshadow
  • Shimmery white eyeshadow
  • Mascara
  • Concealer
  • Foundation + Powder
  • Bronzer
  • Peachy blush
  • Nude lipgloss

So this is the older video I did:

I like the light green look more but these are just some ideas how to do it. :)
