To-Go Make-Up: Lancôme Doll Eyes

Hey guys,

This is a very special video which might me a little bit confusing but I hope you like it. We did three looks which are exactly the same just with different colors at some point. So we show you three looks: a classy one with black and white, a fun one with greens and blues and a romantic one with pinks, peaches and purples.

The idea is somehow stolen from Lancôme which did a nice visual for their new mascara. You can see behind the Photoshop pictures here: http://media8.onsugar.com/files/2011/06/24/2/296/2963876/177bd49deedda974_image_4.jpg

As you can see it’s basically a cut crease look with dark liner around the eyes and three fake lashes on the lower lashline. This is what is supposed to make it look doll-like. In my opinion this is a very modern look. You can also see the difference that Photoshop makes when you look at the lashes. This is the official picture: http://blog.olyafirst.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Lancome-Hypnose-Doll-Eyes-Campaign.jpg

Classy look:
  • Eyeshadow base
  • White base (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk)
  • White eyeshadow
  • Shimmery white eyeshadow
  • Black eyeshadow
  • Dark shimmery eyeshadow
  • Matt black eyeshadow (as eyeliner)
  • Mascara
  • Concealer, foundation, powder
  • Contour color
  • Dramatic pink blush
  • Nude lipstick
  • Red shimmery lipgloss
  • Eyebrow powder

Romantic look:
  • Eyeshadow base
  • Pink or purple eyeshadow base
  • Peachy eyeshadow
  • Pink eyeshadow eyeshadow
  • Purple eyeshadow
  • Dark burgundy eyeshadow
  • Matt black eyeshadow (as eyeliner)
  • Mascara
  • Concealer, foundation, powder
  • Contour color
  • Soft pink blush
  • Nude lipstick
  • Nude glossy lipgloss
  • Eyebrow powder

Fun look:
  • Eyeshadow base
  • Green, blue or turquoise base
  • Turquoise eyeshadow
  • Teal  eyeshadow
  • Dark blue eyeshadow
  • Dark purple eyeshadow
  • Matt black eyeshadow (as eyeliner)
  • Mascara
  • Concealer, foundation, powder
  • Contour color
  • Peachy blush
  • Nude lipstick
  • Pink lipgloss
  • Eyebrow powder

You can do any look with any color but it will always change the look in the end. You can use bright or nude colors for any part of your face and it will make it so easy not to look the same every single day. You should try out as many colors and techniques as you can to find out what you like best. :) This is the message of this look.

How to wear Take the Stage by OPI

 Hey guys,

I recently tried out one of the Burlesque OPI nailpolishes. I thought the color would be really opaque and glittery as I had seen it before with other polishes. But this one really disappointed me. It was streaky and not opaque at all and after the third coat I gave up. I took pictures of it. So all fingers are 2 coats except the pinky finger (3 coats).

I then tried to think of a nice way to wear it, and when I saw the following video I was sure that this is not only my problem.

I tried it now with a black color underneath and loooooove the results. It looks so nice and expensive and is especially pretty on a night out. Because of the flash you can't really tell from the pictures but it's really dark and black but warm and bronzy where the light hits it. Beautiful color. (1 coat black and 1 coat Take the Stage)

I hope some of you like that idea and you try it. :)

See you soon!

Line it! Doll Eyeliner

Hey guys,

This week’s liner tutorial is a little different from what is modern and in trend at the moment. Since the 50s it’s basically a winged liner, sometimes in a cat eye shape but always making the eyes look longer and slimmer.

Now doll eyes are not slim and cat like. They are round and huge and cute. To achieve this look you should stay away from your wings and flicks and try to make the middle of your eye look rounder by applying the most product there.

So have fun watching this video! This is the longest intro I ever did!

What you need:
  • Eyeshadowbase
  • Dark base color (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Slate)
  • Midtone purple eyeshadow (as the one of the Chanel Les 4 Ombres in 08 Vanités)
  • Light purple eyeshadow (as the one of the Chanel Les 4 Ombres in 08 Vanités)
  • Dark purple eyeshadow (as the one of the Chanel Les 4 Ombres in 08 Vanités)
  • Light champagne eyeshadow (as the one of the Chanel Les 4 Ombres in 08 Vanités)
  • Matt champagne highlighting eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box Eyeshadow in Nr. 17)
  • White eyeliner pencil (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk)
  • Black gel or liquid eyeliner (as Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink)
  • Mascara
  • Foundation, concealer
  • Pink blush
  • Pink lipliner (as Nyx Lipliner Pencil in Hot Pink)
  • Golden shimmer lipgloss

You can also watch this older video where I did exactly the same thing with another look on another girl. :)

To-Go Make-Up: Estee Lauder Autumn n Winter Look

Hey guys,

Wanna see a nice Christmas or winter look? I found this picture by Estee Lauder somewhere around the internet. I think it’s a great look, combining cat eye and snowy eyes. It’s not too dark, so the lips can really show up. The skin is really soft and perfect, but no blush or anything. I am not a huge fan of blush in the winter because of the cold. I always look kind of frozen when I wear blush in the winter. ;)

This look is true awesomeness. Enjoy watching. :)

What you need:
  • Eyeshadowbase
  • Dark grey base for the outer corner (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Slate)
  • Black eyeliner pencil
  • White shimmery eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box Eyeshadow in No. 4)
  • Blue shimmery eyeshadow
  • Dark blue shimmery eyeshadow
  • Dark grey shimmery eyeshadow
  • Black liquid or gel eyeliner (as Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink)
  • Mascara
  • Foundation
  • Concealer
  • Bronzer
  • Red lip liner
  • Red lipstick (I mixed a darker one and a lighter one)

If you don’t have a fringe you should also do these really soft and natural brows. They look stunning.

Line it! Multicolored Eyeliner

Hey guys,

Here’s a new way how to wear your eyeliner. This week I wanted to show you multicolored liners because I think this looks really good on its one or with a more colorful look. I saw many tutorials on Youtube with a multicolored liner. This tutorial is a more natural look which you can do for work or school, too.

I hope you like this second tutorial and enjoy watching.

What you need:
  • Concealer
  • Powder or skintone eyeshadow (as Macs Brule)
  • Optional: darker skintone eyeshadow
  • Optional: yellow eyeshadow (as the one of the Sleek I Divine Acid Palette)
  • Dark grey or black eyeshadow
  • White eyeliner pencil (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk)
  • Black eyeliner pencil
  • Red liquid eyeliner
  • Blue liquid eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Natural blush
  • Optional: red lipgloss

You can do this with any color you can imagine. :) Have fun.
