To-Go Make-Up: Look like Naked

Hey guys,

This is the most wearable look you will ever find on my blog. It wasn’t that sheer in real life but on the pictures it looked like there was no make-up which finally created the name for the look. :D

I still like it and watching the video will help you to see that I actually did something.

The next To-Go-Look is more colorful and I am very excited. ;)

What you need:
  • Champagne colored eyeshadow
  • Orange bronzy colored eyeshadow
  • Sheer peachy colored eyeshadow
  • Dark brown eyeshadow
  • Black eyeshadow
  • Mascara
  • Shimmery white eyeshadow
  • Concealer
  • Bronzer and highlighter
  • Natural blush
  • Pinky berry lipstick

Ok, that was really sheer and wearable. Hope you enjoyed!

Take care, bye!

Hey guys,

today I want to mention a beautiful Give-away of a German Blogger called Amy. I really love her blog, she's so talented.

The prizes are really amazing, too, especially for German girls because she's giving away some cool NYX products.

This is a picture of the prizes she has on her blog:

The give-away is opened for the whole EU area, I think. You can also let google translate her blog if you don't speak German!

So good luck everybody and visit her as soon as you can for product reviews and gorgeous make-up looks. :)

Hope you're all well, bye!

Nina Hagen: Punched in the Eye

Hey guys,

Nina Hagen is also represented in the German Madame Tussauds in Berlin. Her wax figure wears this crazy colorful punched eye make-up.

I always wanted to do something which was not supposed to be pretty in any way and that was my chance to do so. I really love the result, and you will see it’s pretty close to the original picture here: http://www.madametussauds.com/SiteImages/Assets/1/Nina_Hagen_1.jpg

Have fun watching how I punched my best friend! :D

What you need:
  • Black eyeshadow
  • Black eyeliner pencil (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean)
  • Green eyeshadow
  • Teal eyeshadows
  • Blue eyeshadows
  • Darker green eyeshadows
  • Blue pigment (as Ponyhütchen’s Ahoi Sailor!)
  • Green pigment (as About Face Cosmetics pigment in Elves rules)

  • Contour color
  • Rosy blush (as the one of the Estee Lauder Nightwaves palette)

To-Go Make-Up: Christina Aguilera

Hey guys,

I wanted to do a look inspired by a celebrity again because I didn’t do that for a while but it’s always fun and I have so many ideas. :D

I chose Christina Aguilera next because I love her and her style. It’s like a 50s pin-up style but still modern and pretty. In my opinion it goes really well with what she’s doing now, the kind of music she does and the movie Burlesque. I didn’t see it though, but I will some day!

Here's the inspiration picture:

Special about this kind of look is the lack of eyeshadow, the eyeliner which is winged and main focus of the eyes and the dramatic lip style. This is a quite classy look with red lips and soft peachy pink eyeshadow. But of course you can use other colors you like better. :)

What you need:
  • Pink base (as Mac Paint Pot in Girl friendly)
  • Light beige eyeshadow
  • Peachy eyeshadow
  • Black gel eyeliner (as Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink)
  • White eyeliner pencil (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk)
  • Mascara
  • Concealer, foundation
  • Blush (as Mac Blushcreme in Ladyblush)
  • Powder
  • Contour color
  • Red lipstick

I hope you like this look. It’s similar to the Angelina Jolie one but much better quality.

Take care, bye!

Thx for watching!

Nina Hagen: Eating Butterflies Make-up

Hey guys,

I did a new Nina Hagen look with a friend. Maybe you already know her from another video. The inspiration for this look is here:

Well, what could I say about this look. The way this picture was edited doesn’t make it easier to guess what the actual make-up looked like. But though I chose this one to present it here. Why? Because I liked it and it is not similar to other Nina looks you will find.

The special thing is the blue eyeshadow in combination with a peachy blush and peachy lipstick. I tried to create a wearable version of this color madness. So maybe it is not the most typical look of hers but it’s fresh, different and pretty…

What you need:
  • Concealer
  • Pastel blue eyeshadow
  • Shimmery blue eyeshadow
  • Turquoise eyeshadow
  • Blue eyeshadow
  • Darker blue eyeshadow
  • Darkest blue eyeshadow
  • Black eyeshadow
  • Black gel eyeliner (Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink)
  • Foundation
  • Bronzer (as the one of the Tarte Jewelry Box)
  • Orange blush
  • Optional: Natural colored lipstick (as Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Carnation)
  • Orange colored lipstick

The reason I used two lipsticks is that I wanted the orange to be a little more pastel looking. The orange lipstick on its own would have looked too dark.

And sorry for that ridiculous eyelining part but she wanted me to show that. :D

Take care, bye!

 Just for fun. :D

To-Go Make-Up: Tarte Jewelry Box inspired Day2Night Look

Hey guys,

I am like so stupid. I forgot to take pictures. So this is a really lame post because I can only present the video and a list of stuff you need.

I hope you forgive me my dullness. :D Enjoy the video, though!

What you need:
  • Purple base (as the eyeliner of the Tarte Jewelry Box)
  • Purple eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 31)
  • Brown eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 12)
  • Dark shimmery grey eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 13)
  • Black eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 30)
  • White eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 17)
  • Light pink eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 18)
  • Pink eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 11)
  • Black eyeliner (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean)
  • Shimmery white eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 4)
  • Concealer
  • Soft berry lipstick (as the one of the Tarte Jewelry Box)
  • Red blush (as Mac Powder Blush in Frankly Scarlett)

Since this is a day to night thing there is still a “base make-up” on the face. I used the Tarte Day Look as a base, which you can find here:
So I didn’t use mascara and contour stuff again but things like concealer, eyeshadow, eyeliner or lip products should be touched up if you’re heading to the city after a hard day’s work. :)

Take care, bye!

Nina Hagen: Easy Smoky Eye

Hey guys,

Finally I could edit this video. I recorded it like a week ago but I didn’t have any time to edit it. I am so happy that I am back now.

This is a really cool and simple look. Main colors are grey and black and you can wear red or nude lips with it. It depends on how you like it. :D I did the red lip for the video but after taking the pictures we decided to go for more natural lips because we were going out that night.

I hope you enjoy this look. I know it’s a short video but I promise I'll post more often now.

What you need:
  • White eyeshadow
  • Light grey eyeshadow
  • Medium dark grey eyeshadow
  • Dark grey eyeshadow
  • Black eyeshadow
  • Black gel eyeliner (as Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink)
  • Maskara
  • Black eyeliner pencil
  • Concealer, foundation, powder
  • Bronzer, highlighter
  • Natural blush
  • Dark red lipstick
  • Red lipgloss

So what do you think? Have a nice weekend and see you soon!

To-Go Make-Up: Tarte Jewelry Box inspired Day Look

Hey guys,

I just received the Tarte Jewelry Box and since I didn’t try it out too much yet I thought I might do some videos using it. It’s a beautiful palette with mainly neutral colors. The upper colors are shimmery and the lower ones matt finish. That’s something I really liked about it.

Another thing is the bronzer which is perfect for lighter skin tones but more a highlighter for darker ones, I think. For me it’s really perfect, not too orange or dark. So I don’t look sunburned or dirty. :D

The lip products in this palette are really pretty, too, but they are not too pigmented. I like that for a normal day make-up.

The only things I literally hate are the eyeliners. I didn’t try to heat them up yet because I am afraid to burn my eye. But you can’t use them the way they come neither. So maybe I’ll try the heating up thing next time I need them. We’ll see.

I already recorded a darker look with this palette, which will be up next week. So if this is too wearable for you look forward to that one. :)

What you need:
  • Pink eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 11)
  • Purple eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 31)
  • Warm brown eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 26)
  • Light pink eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 18)
  • White eyeliner (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk)
  • Sparkly white eyeshadow (as Tarte Jewelry Box No. 4)
  • Mascara
  • Purple eyeliner (as the one of the Tarte Jewelry Box)
  • Concealer
  • Soft pink lipstick (as the one of the Tarte Jewelry Box)
  • Bronzer and highlighter (as the ones of the Tarte Jewelry Box)
  • Natural colored blush

I love this palette. If you own it, too, let me know what you think about it. :)

See you soon, bye.

April Girl: The Golden Thunderstorm

Hey guys,

Say hi to my April Girl. I called it Golden Thunderstorm since I think it goes well with the look. But also because there was a thunderstorm when we were trying to take some nice pictures. My best friend finally had the idea of using an umbrella and I think those pictures are the most beautiful ones we took that day.

The umbrella was a present I gave her for Christmas. I bought it on Amazon, it’s a Lisbeth Dahl umbrella and costs about 30 Euro.

The outfit itself is really simple and casual. We didn’t want to do something dramatic with this look. She wears a black dress which goes down to the knee. Underneath she has black leggings. Those black peep toe shoes are her favorite ones but they weren’t comfortable at all. She also wears a black bolero and some bracelets which are crème colored and golden. I wanted to put this color on the eyes, too, to tie everything together.

I love golden and purple colors mixed together. Since the clothes are so simple, we went really crazy and dramatic with the eyes. I layered many shades of both golden and purple eyeshadows to get this really vibrant and shimmery result. If you wanna wear this don’t be afraid of toning it down to a wearable look. It still looks fabulous. Promised. :D

The lashes are really cool but not wearable at all. And the storm managed to get them off at the ends. We took the close shots afterwards, so that’s why they look so damaged.

Now enjoy the video. I hope you like it.

What you need: (All the gaps will be filled in tomorrow!)
  • Black base (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean)
  • White base (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk)
  • Beige colored eyeshadow (as the one of the Nyx palette)
  • Crème colored eyeshadow (as the one of the Nyx palette)
  • Golden eyeshadow
  • Golden pigment (as)
  • Golden glitter (as)
  • Purple eyeshadow
  • Purple pigment (as)
  • Black eyebrow powder
  • Black eyeliner
  • Black gel liner (as Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink)
  • False lashes (as)
  • Foundation, Concealer
  • Pink lipliner
  • Pink lipstick
  • Purple lipstick
  • Contour color (optional: layer a lighter and darker one)
  • Powder
  • Pink blush

So again this was a great experience. It’s so much fun to work with different people and get to know some pretty girls. I hope you enjoy the video and the pictures and let me know what you think.

Enjoy your day, bye.
