Nina Hagen: Indian Inspired

Hey guys,

Do you like the new Nina Hagen look? I do. It’s a bronze really extreme eye look with red lips and – as always – strong brows. Here’s the inspiration picture, make sure to check that out: http://medias.ados.fr/people/1/3/1365/Nina-Hagen/photos/13738-nina-hagen-00-004.jpg

I fell in love with that flick-thing which is really unique and fun. You can add some more drama to the lips if you want but I didn’t. I think the eyes are dramatic enough.

The special thing about this look is that dot on the forehead. It makes it kind of Indian inspired. I think that’s really cool. So enjoy watching the video.

Purchase of the Month: March and April

Cute little nail design using Kikos 295 and 281.
The Kiko Mat Lipstick in 288.
Hey guys,

I wanted to share with you what I think about my new Kiko stuff. I tried anything for about 2 months now and I think I made up my mind and I can tell you everything now. :D

Of course you should watch the video because sometimes what I say and what I write are two different things. :D I’ll try to put some nice pictures everywhere.

Done with the Water Eyeshadow in 01.
 What I bought:
  • Kiko Water Eyeshadow in 01 Bright Lemon: This is my all time favorite golden eyeshadow. You can use it wet and dry and it looks good in both ways. I like the wet version more and it’s somehow designed for that if you think of the name. It’s a great color, I saw it and wanted to buy it. I’ll put you the picture of a look using this here.
  • Kiko Lipstick in No. 37: A beautiful purple color I bought because I didn’t have anything like that yet. Worn just on top of the natural lip color it’s just a sheer purple shimmer but with some concealer underneath it’s a beautiful lavender color which is perfect for spring I think.
  • Kiko Mat Lipstick in No. 288: The most perfect red for my skin tone because it doesn’t make me look pale. It’s not a pink toned red but a beautiful warm tone. It definitely has an orange undertone but I love that. It also stays put really well for a red lipstick. Just a cool lipstick.
  • Kiko Sharpener: I needed something to sharpen my Nyx Jumbo Pencils with and since I went to Kiko I found this sharpener. It works really well for all my lipliners and eyeliners and I didn’t have any problem with the Nyx Pencils. So if you’re looking for a sharpener check out this one.
  • Kiko Brush Cleanser: I also needed a brush cleanser. This one is 50mland it works quite well. It dries really quickly.
  • Kiko Nail polishes: I bought the colors 204 (the white one), 295 (the blue one), 281 (the coral one) and 207 (the beige one). I will try these again as soon as my nails are fixed because I don’t know why they broke so much. But if it is because of the polishes that is really disappointing. If there is a significant change in my mind, I will let you know. The colors are amazing and especially the blue and the coral one are really opaque. They’re perfect spring colors. We’ll see what a different base coat can do about the breaking stuff.
  • OPI Nail polish in Flashbulb Fuchsia: This one is slightly bigger than the Kiko polishes. The color is really amazing, so damn opaque and the most beautiful pink I own. I just can’t say how long it could last because my nails were so damaged. I would say about  5 days but not much longer. I will definitely try that one out again and let you know. :)
  • Laphroaig Honey Lip Balm: This was a gift my boyfriend brought me from Scotland. This is just a funny thing and if you’re boyfriend likes honey and whisky he may love it. ;) I think it’s great for people that don’t want to feel like they’re wearing make-up or stuff. You can buy that here, I think: www.spiritedsoaps.com! :)
 Kiko's 295.
 Kiko's 281 with 295 flower.
After 3-4 days.
After 3-4 days.
OPI Flashbulb Fuchsia.
After 6-7 days.
Kiko's 207.
 After 3-4 days.

Kiko's Lipstick in 37.
That’s it for March and April. I just got some Douglas coupons so maybe I will buy some stuff in May.

See you soon, bye.

To-Go Make-Up: Sunkissed Gold

Hey guys,

Welcome to a super bright super fun look I wore in the middle of green grass and sunshine. I just love golden make-up looks and I also think that purple goes really well with that. The purple makes this look interesting; if you don’t like it leave it out and you get a beautiful classy golden look. Just apply a little bit of brown instead.

You can also combine the classy look with red lips to make it even more diva inspired. But I wanted to do the spring version with bright purple lips.

Enjoy watching guys. :)

What you need:
  • Golden base (as Kiko Water Eyeshadow in 01 Bright Lemon with Mac’s fix+)
  • Golden eyeshadow
  • Bronzy eyeshadow (as Ponyhütchen pigment in Jingle Bells)
  • Purple eyeshadow (as the one of the Sleek Acid Palette)
  • White eyeshadow (as the one of the Sleek Acid Palette)
  • White eyeliner (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk)
  • Optional: darker golden eyeshadow
  • Mascara
  • Concealer
  • Purple lipstick (as Kiko Lipstick in No. 37)
  • Pink blush (as the one of the Estee Lauder Nightwaves palette)

I hope you’re cool enough to wear those fun bright colors which are like the spring and summer trend 2011. I love it though I don’t wear it often. :)

Take care, bye.

Help me to get new eyeshadows. :D

Camera drove me crazy.

Nina Hagen: Gothic Lips

Hey guys,

This new Nina Hagen look is really cool because of those lips. I liked the picture it’s inspired by because it shows her in her natural beauty. If you watch the video you may wonder why this could be natural, but since I know her normal make-up style I promise that this is a natural look. :D Here’s the picture: http://nina-hagen.ucoz.ru/Pictures/Logos/Filmography.jpg

This time I tried to use my natural eyebrows which may not look that pretty, I don’t know. :D I hope you don’t bother. But as this look lives from the eyebrows and lips and the dark liner I thought I couldn’t leave the eyebrows undone. Because of the light she seems to have flawless skin and she reminds me of snow white.

What do you think of this look?

Now here’s the video, it’s quite long. :D

What you need:
  • Black base (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean)
  • Black eyeshadow
  • Optional: grey eyeshadow
  • White or light beige eyeshadow
  • Black eyeliner, Mascara
  • Concealer
  • Foundation
  • Peachy blush (as Benefit Georgia Blush)
  • Orange or red lipliner
  • Red lipstick (as Kiko Mat Lipstick in 288)
  • Darker lipstick
  • Dark brown lipstick
  • Optional: even darker brown pigment (as Ponyhütchen’s Dark Chocolate )
  • Clear gloss
  • Some gold glitter (as Mac’s Reflects Gold)
  • Powder

I hope you like that look. If you like that dark liner style or those dramatic lips try it out. I think you can get a quite wearable look if you want.

Have a wonderful weekend, our weather is awesome.

Take care, bye.

To-Go Make-Up: Grass green

Hey guys,

I wanted to do a nice spring time look and here is my favorite spring color: green! I love green eyeshadow for many reasons… It looks good with my green shoes, it makes my eyes look so blue and it’s the best color to describe spring time.

I also want to wish you a nice Easter which I will spend with my friends and family. :) The weather here is unbelievable so we can spend a whole weekend outside. It’s going to be so much fun.

Ok, now here is the video!

What you need:
  • Neon green eyeshadow
  • Olive green eyeshadow
  • Fir green eyeshadow
  • Matt white eyeshadow
  • White eyeliner pencil
  • Mascara
  • Concealer
  • Pink lipstick
  • Pink blush

This is such an easy look which looks great if you go shopping with your friends in the summer or spring. :) Green is such a great color, and I love the combination with pink. As I said if you don’t like it try to use coral or peachy colors or just some nudes. :)

Have a great week and a wonderful weekend.

Take care, bye.

March Girl: The Cool Cat

Hey guys,

Here comes the March Girl. And she is really a cool cat. The make-up was inspired by her leopard earrings which are like her favorite ones. I always wanted to do such a leopard eye because I think it looks so fun and is still so easy.

I decided to go for the classy cat eye so I extended her eyeliner into the tear duct area which makes this look really dark and dramatic. I wouldn’t recommend the lashes I used because they are so firm and came off after  a few seconds. That really made me sick. :D

Ok, the outfit is kind of bad girl inspired with the black leather jacket that matches those unbelievable cool boots. The dress again had leopard print on it which was not over the top too much leopard for me but looked really cool with the make-up and the earrings. In fact I think that leopard print is really hard to wear, because it can look overwhelming if you do too much of it and kinda boring of it’s not enough. I have a cute dress which I never wear just because it’s total leopard print. :/

What you need:
  • Black base (as Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean)
  • Black eyeshadow
  • Bronzy dark brown eyeshadow
  • Eyeshadow that’s slightly darker than skin tone
  • Light brown eyeshadow
  • Brow highlight color
  • Dark brown eyeshadow
  • Black eyeliner pencil (waterline)
  • Gel eyeliner (as Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in 01 Black Ink)
  • Eyebrow powder
  • Foundation, concealer, powder
  • Bronzer
  • Pink blush
  • Natural colored lipliner (as Nyx Lipliner in Natural)
  • Nude lipstick
  • Peachy lipgloss

So if you ever wanna look like a really hot bad girl maybe you wanna try this make-up. It’s super cool, super easy and you will be a real eyecatcher.

So let me know what you think about it. :D

Take care, bye.

To-Go Make-Up: Bronzed Night Out

Hey guys,

Here is a new Milan look which I recorded a few days ago. That’s why my hair is still long in this video. It’s really annoying, I am sorry.

It’s a fun look for a night out but without using bright colors or something like that. So it’s still classy and sexy. You can wear this for dinner or a party with friends. I wouldn’t recommend wearing it on a date or something like that.

You can always go for another lip color because those nude lips don’t suit everybody. This looks also great with natural lips, something peachy maybe. But stay away from pink or red.

What you need:
  • Skin tone colored eyeshadow
  • Warm brown eyeshadow
  • Glittery bronze colored eyeshadow
  • Black eyeshadow
  • White eyeshadow
  • Black eyeliner pencil
  • Mascara
  • Concealer
  • Powder
  • Nude lipstick
  • Clear gloss (you can also go for a peachy tone)
  • Dark pink blush

I hope you’re having a wonderful day.

Take care, bye.
